{"id":1929,"date":"2018-04-15T16:44:10","date_gmt":"2018-04-15T20:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.albrechtengineering.com\/?page_id=1929"},"modified":"2018-04-15T16:44:52","modified_gmt":"2018-04-15T20:44:52","slug":"job-posting-gisbusiness-analyst-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.albrechtengineering.com\/index.php\/careers\/job-posting-gisbusiness-analyst-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Posting: GIS\/Business Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job title: GIS\/Business Analyst<br \/>\nLocation: Baltimore, MD<\/p>\n<p>Albrecht Engineering is seeking a full-time GIS\/Business Analyst to work on a variety of projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of manual and automated data quality assurance procedures on a versioned geodatabase performed by internal editors as well as those transmitted from external projects<\/li>\n<li>Creating and modifying SQL queries for QA\/QC processes pertaining to GIS utility infrastructure<br \/>\nAssist in the creation of documentation to reflect workflows and decisions made during requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders as well as those identified during development of the system<\/li>\n<li>Assist in application testing to ensure product meets client specifications<\/li>\n<li>Interact with external and internal clients<\/li>\n<li>Other GIS mapping and database tasks as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in GIS, Geography, Information Management\/Technology, Engineering, or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>0 &#8211; 3 years of related experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ArcGIS (ArcMap and ArcCatalog)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office (with specific regard to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ModelBuilder and\/or Python desired<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively<br \/>\nMust be outgoing, self-motivated, and be able to complete assignments on time with a relatively low level of supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested, please email your resume to info@albrechtengineering.com with subject title \u2018GIS\/Business Analyst \u2013 {Your Name}\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job title: GIS\/Business Analyst Location: Baltimore, MD Albrecht Engineering is seeking a full-time GIS\/Business Analyst to work on a variety of projects.
