{"id":1184,"date":"2016-01-22T10:06:40","date_gmt":"2016-01-22T15:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.albrechtengineering.com\/?page_id=1184"},"modified":"2016-01-22T11:46:32","modified_gmt":"2016-01-22T16:46:32","slug":"systems-analyst","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.albrechtengineering.com\/index.php\/systems-analyst\/","title":{"rendered":"Systems Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Albrecht Engineering is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to provide onsite support for a utility-engineering client in Baltimore, MD.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 20px\">\n<ul>\n<li>Play a key role in requirements elicitation meetings and work sessions with business sponsors, users, project manager and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Critically understand clients&#8217; operations and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of business process models.<\/li>\n<li>Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.<\/li>\n<li>Work with technical staff to translate business requirements into data schemas and workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Determine potential solutions and test them for both technical and business compatibility.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize knowledge of business processes and tools to make recommendations to business and other impacted parties regarding solution options.<\/li>\n<li>Support technical teams by providing clarification of requirements during Implementation and Testing.<\/li>\n<li>Write and maintain system documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Interact extensively with external and internal clients.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 20px\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Information Management, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of related experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with Utility Engineering, Water\/Wastewater or Construction Management desired.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to summarize findings in clear concise language suitable for multiple audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates an ability to consult with stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Applies knowledge of group facilitation and consultation.<\/li>\n<li>Must be outgoing and comfortable working with a large group of customer contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter and take responsibility for completing assignments on time.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with Esri ArcGIS software a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Albrecht Engineering is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to provide onsite support for a utility-engineering client in Baltimore, MD.
