This project consists of the modernization of the elevators in the Baltimore Police HQ building, including seven existing passenger elevators and one freight elevator.
Structural engineering design for the refurbishment of existing elevators. Performed a field survey to assess the condition of the existing elevator shaft, pit, machine room, hoist beam, and penthouse floor. Provided design documents for modifications to the elevator pit and machine room. Reviewed and commented on the construction cost estimate.
